"Phoebe, darlgin!!! There's no use getting him back now. He;s dead." My heart stopped and I dropped to teh ground. Agian chockign, btu this tiem not on tears. I was chokign on real, hard, crushed love. I gasped for air as Charlie sat down next to me not knowing what to do. I spit out somethign red and stopped choking. "Is that...ew!!!" Charlie nodded her head and told me. "This onyl happens to broken hearted vampires. We don't need our hearts once they are broken so bti by bti we spit tehm out." I made an ugly face then ran to the tree. I pounded my fist on it till te dpoor collapsed. They still had the knife to Peter's head and blood was tricklign down his forehead. They were scalpign him slowly...and painfully. I picked up a chair and threw it at the man that was scalpign Peter and shouted. "Leave him alone!!!" Peter turned his head to look at me then grinned in a creepy manner. I grabbed him nd put him on my shoulder carrying him out of the tree and watched him change back to his self agian. He looked at me in confusion. I smiled, the hugged him. But he shoved me off of him. "Who are you???!!!" He shouted at me the stood up. "It's em Phoebe, remember me Peter???" He shook his head then began to walk away. Charlie knew what I was thinking. She grabbed my wrist and squeezed it till I fainted. When I woke up I was in the lair and Peter was all tied up n a table. "Peter!!!" I screamed as I jumped up and ran to him. He gave me a dirty look then looked away from me. Then he seemed to reconize me all the sudden. "Pho???" I nodded my head and smiled, I had my Peter back!!! But then he frowned. "Why did you do that to me fi you loved me???" I shrugged my shoulders then sat down in a chair next to the table. He looked at me like get me outta here!!! So I untied him then held his hand while smiling. He smiled in a forgivign way. Then drug me back to the cave and sat me down on teh table. I flinched not knowing what was going to happen. when he pulled out a knife I knew what eh was doing. He was goign to stab me and turn me back to human. But instead he cut his wrist and held it under my nose. Wiht not even 2 seconds later I was suckign teh blood out of him. He was turnign pail and hsi hair turned dark dark black and he had the same color of eyes. I shocked em hwo I changed to ym human form instead of pink hair and all that. He looked at me when I was done and grabbed my wrist, cuttign it also and bitting me. I did nto understand what eh was doing btu I just went wiht the flow. After he bit me he threw the knife across the cave and picked me up and over hsi shoulder. Then carried me to the lair. He set me down and told me to wait there. Then Charlie came out singing the song "Toxic." By Brittney Spears. I laughed and was socked when Peter came back. He was wearign hsi normal clothes btu some hwo looked different. He scared em when he woudln't talk. then I asked Charlie why he was actign this way. But she onyl said, "He has vampire fever." I didn't understand. So I asked agina and she said. "When a boy vampire bites a girl vampire he goes crazy even if he hates tht girl. It doesn't matter who it is as long as she has bitten him before." I shook my head and stuck out my tounge(why I have no idea) "So, he's like hipnotized right???" She nodded her head and walked over to him, slapping him as he shuddered. He went back to normal then walked over to me and slapped my face very hard knockign me off the couch. "Ow!!! Why wodul he do that Charlie!!!" She whispered in my ear, "He is insaine right now, not even sure if he loves you right now. He can't control himself. And he knows it is time." I looked at her in confusion and said a bti to loudly. "Time for what?!" She rolled her eyes as if toi say do you know nothign!!! "Time to pick who he will be wiht for the rest of his life." Then he ran otu of the lair. "Well why is he leaving???!!!" "Because, he has to leave to search for other vampire girls. If he doesn't coem back by next month he has chosen someone other then you." A single tear ran down my cheek from fear of him runnign off to another girl. Charlei wipped it away and shook her head in doubt thta he woudl come back. "Honey, I hve been waitign my whole life for my man to come back. But he can't. I had three men I loved. One was killed for goign back to the tree, the second chose another woman. And the third...simply left em to die." I wanted to cry but coudln't for I was far to scared. I wanted him to come back. i didn't want him to be gone for a month, let alone find another girl
